Permission details: 1. Internet permission: Only used to get web suggestions
2. Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): Only used to search through contacts (Completely optional)
3. Phone (CALL_PHONE): Only used for phone call as per user's request (Completely optional).
4. Files (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To search through device files (On Device). App’s core purpose is to search through files and folders across the device’s external storage.
5. QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: To get list of installed apps and shortcuts
6. READ_CALENDAR: To get list of upcoming events. All events are accessed on device in real-time, nothing is stored in the app.

Hi dev, I really like your app and since google killed the M3E style pixel search bar on Android 16, I've been using this app as the default search provider on pixel launcher. However, I noticed that the app uses PNG for widget icons instead of XML drawables. I hope you can switch the icons to vectors, so they look less pixelated. Great app btw ❤️

Update: Thank you for adding shortcut search. But one problem still... App now supports searching through shortcuts, but I think it only searches through default app shortcuts shown when holding on app icon and not other ones that could be made with the app. For example, I am using 1 dm download manager. It lets you add its browser to home screen as a shortcut. But pixel launcher doesn’t show that in search results whilr samsung finder does. I hope you add this useful function too. Thank you

Terrible. You forced the widget into three blocks just to add that stupid music search button (non-removabe!!), which, by the way, isn't available yet. Biggest unforced error I've ever seen, and I'm a Jets fan

It is a useful app. However, it has a serious security vulnerability as of the latest version. If you enable the Google search suggestions setting, If you inspect the network logs, the requests are made via port 80 which is insecure HTTP traffic. The app is essentially sending your search queries over unencrypted clear text HTTP instead of HTTPS, which opens the door to several kinds of attack vectors. If the developer responds and addresses this issue, I will update my review.
