If you want to escape Meta, this is a great alternative to Instagram. Sure it doesn't have the same reach, but once you start following people and interests you like, it is a very vibrant community. Always a pleasure to support the Fediverse.

I can't edit anything on my profile because the Save button doesn't respond. Other than that it seems okay so far, I hope more people start using it and there are more ways of finding content and people.

Still a bit rough, you can't edit anything on your photos before uploading, and the save button doesn't seem to work, so I can't edit my profile, but it's got a chronological feed of pictures from people you actually follow and that's a huge step up from the mainstream image posting apps.

I like pixel fed, and the web interface is alright, but this is truly the junkiest app I have ever used. If literally all you had done was just wrap the web client in electron with no modifications I would've given this a 5.

I cannot even start an account because the six-digit number is invalid, and resending doesn't help. Like how do I even use that app.

"Oops! The server may be temporarily unavailable." For the past month, that has been the message. The app still loves to send me push notifications, but God forbid I actually try to use it. The mobile app is just abandonware atp.

Doesn't work! Can't even sign up. It sends you a verification code but then says that code is invalid. Tried multiple times only for it to say try again later. USELESS
