I started using Pixiv more since I was having issues with X/Twitter, and I still need to brush up on my Japanese, but the website has suppressed AI options, which Twitter doesn't have as far as I'm aware of, so Pixiv is just more relaxing and better for art. So far, so good. I recommend trying out this app. The art is lovely!💗

A good app to share one's artworks or simply enjoy your favorite artist. There are a few downsides, the most trivial being the censorship, but the most irritating by far was allowance of AI generated images and the users abusing the system by adding a tag instead of checking a tick box, the latter of which is how the blocking system works. Personal advice if you don't want to see it? Mute, as the block button only works if you don't want them to see you.

Constantly get disruptive and deceptive ads that open outside the app in my web browser. Perhaps considering releasing an update that does not violate Google Play Store policy and put your users at risk?

The pop-up ads in app are so annoying! It will literally divert from the app and open another app! Isn't this a security concern??

Atrociously annoying full screen ads. Ads that have fake close buttons, ads that redirect you to shopping apps constantly even after you close them and open pixiv again, ads that redirect you to dodgy websites. Use the web browser, don't bother with this hot garbage
