Description
This app allows you to quickly easily remove any font and formatting information from text on the clipboard, leaving it as plain text. This can useful if you are copying formatted text into emails or other documents.
Just copy the formatted text onto the clipboard, then start the app and tap the Remove Formatting button. Thats all there is to it. A widget is also provided - just drag it onto the home screen and tap it to remove formatting from the clipboard text.
The inspiration for this app was Steve Miller's Pure Text utility for WIndows (http://stevemiller.net/puretext/).

This is an ideal app. It has a tiny footprint, no glitz, no ads. It provides one single essential function. It strips formatting from text in the clipboard. Example: If I were to copy white text from a dark-mode YouTube description, and paste it into a text message, it would normally appear as invisible white on white. But with a single click of this Plain Text app, I can paste it as black on white.
