Had similar issue as everyone was using for years then after an update it was stopping after 2 mins or 3 mins and not reconnecting. Got this email from support which seems to have sorted it for anyone else having same issue. Issue caused by Android update. Try changing the settings on your phone to allow battery usage. To do this, please can you go to the Settings app > Planet Rock > Allow background usage/battery usage. Then change this from optimized to unrestricted.

I have been a paid subscriber to Planet Rock since the beginning. Over the last six months this app has got worse and worse, you constantly get cut off and have to restart the app. I tried the Rayo app and that is even worse, practically unusable. I returned to the PR app only to get an email today saying that track skipping is being removed, due to technical reasons. It's the only thing that's worked properly! Reluctantly cancelled my subscription, will rejoin if they ever sort this mess out

The app will not remember the show I was listening to of when I stop listening. Sometimes it even restarts the show from the beginning. The user experience is poor. It doesn't show on screen the song playing, or the time of the show and fast-forward/ rewind doesn't work from the car radio controls. It's a good job the music is 11/10, as is the volume
