Update: Works without any crashes so far. Actually wanted to try this because I've tried it on iOS before, and it was really good. What is missing here is the configurability I was expecting to see. Preferred audio language, preferred subtitle language and of course a switch for hardware acceleration which I did not seem to find. It performs very well though, thumbs up & five stars hoping that more features from iOS will be ported. Also: please offer a paid version without tracking and ads.

I tend to figure out most apps, using guides or just tinkering around, but I could not figure this one out. I can't download from the network, I can't stream, etc. I miss ios PlayerXtreme (I now have android, but I'm thinking of going back to Apple just for this media player!!) This is not an android equivalent of ios PlayerXtreme Media Player!

Can't cast with it! The app looks good, but you can't cast to your set, it's just meant for your phone, and if you're like me, we don't like that, I would give this app a zero, but as we all know that's not possible.

No frame-accurate scrubbing, not possible to scrub while paused (it will automatically u pause when scrubbing), and scrubbing makes the video position jump back and forth like crazy. No settings. Buggy UI. Laggy UI.
