I've tried a variety of apps that claim to cast to Chromecast, Fire Sticks, Samsung Smart TV. They all have the same problem: they play for a little bit then they pause, buffer a while, and they play for a little bit and then they buffer. That includes apps like VLC and X cast to TV among others. This is the first one that claims to work and it actually does.

This app has great core functionality and works well but the user interface is clumsy messy and not simple or user friendly and needs a complete redesign. This could be a great app. *Tip Some people dont realise that it only stops after 10 mins as most phones and tablets switch off wifi after 10 min of inactivity to conserve power. You need to set wifi to stay on while sleeping or put your device on charge which also keeps wifi connected in most cases.

I second other commentors. It works, connect easily, has nice controls, but video cuts out to buffer often, and has no control synch to TV (frame slider, fast forward, backward, do not affect whats on the TV). Too bad.

I want to listen to music on smasung tv. Once i connect it i cannot play songs without having to go back and choose a song. Why can't it play through my music? Why do i have ti choose a song let it disconnect then choose another and connect again? Waste of time.
