It's a great app, and I did give it a 5 but dropped a point for how long it takes your level to update from a leveling session with a coach. It's been a week now, and I asked my coach, and they said he had put the level on, but now it's up to the playtomic team. I asked the support bot, and they said it takes a day or so to appear. What I don't think they realize is I'm putting off booking and can't book a certain events because of this which means they are losing out on booking fees.

Fairly good. I can't seem to find a match that my friend is in so that I can join it, unless they send me a link... which I suppose is one of the primary reasons for the app. Other than that is quite thorough.

While I appreciate Platonic's recent April 2026 documentation update extending the Block feature (which basically only muted DMs) to restrict players from joining the same Open Matches, this update only solves half the problem. A blocked user can still view profile activity and track which clubs a player frequents. A Block must be a total privacy blackout, preventing profile visibility entirely, so users aren't forced into hiding their accounts and losing access to the community.

Why do I randomly keep losing basic UI features? Before I could sort matches by distance, now that's disappeared. Before I could expand to 12mi distance for matches, now it's 6mi tops. Worst of all when I go press create a match the option to create one that isn't playtomic court is gone. This makes the app completely unusable for me because I live in front of a public court that I now can't utilize. I had paid for a court only to realize that I couldn't create a match on playtomic afterward.

This app would be 5/5 if the booking/payment system is so rigid. It's just not needed with a modern booking system in 2026. Allow people to cancel upto 2 hours before, this is very reasonable and will save your customers lots of wasted money with little impact to your profits. Their support bot is useless for anything actually worth contacting support for. No sign of any actual humans to provide support either

The algorithm for calculating level needs work because it penalizes you for playing against higher level players.
