Great potential This app's remote controls my Panasonic BDT360 but only after I manually turn it on and insert a compliant (Universal) disc. The app's remote should turn on and control the BD player without a compliant disc so I can use it for setup, internet, etc.

Some problems I am having some problems logging into things like universal even though all the information is correct and has been rechecked over 20 times etc... Still waiting on a response as to why I am getting an error on the app when I am able to log in fine on the pc. The remote works only if you have a universal BD in the machine you are trying to use. Also I am not able to play all my streaming videos on Ultraviolet. When ever I can finally get logged into my accts. this program will be worth 5 stars.

terrible app. terrible experience. The pocketBLU app is mediocre. On my Nexus 7, the QR-code redemption mode is useless since the camera aspect ratio is skewed and the camera rotation is off by 90-degrees, which makes scanning of the code impossible. The other redemption option is entering a numeric code, which should be easy except for the fact that all the codes that have come with my Blu-rays have been invalid requiring me to contact pocketBLU's support (who at least responds reasonably quickly). Once you have a working numeric code, you have to put the Blu-ray disc in a player that has storage space (for which I had to connect a cheap-o USB stick). Then you have to connect the pocketBLU app to the Blu-ray player (which is a non-obvious thing to do if the app hasn't popped up a request in your face, which it seems to do maybe half the time. Then you have to tell the pocketBLU app to download a copy from the Blu-ray player, which took close to 30 minutes. Once you've gone through all of that, you end up with an SD copy of the movie on your Android device. If you ever delete the movie (to clear space, for example), you'll have to go through the copy process again. UltraViolet+VUDU is vastly superior to pocketBLU.

App simply doesn't work. Would give 0 if I could. Tried redeeming two codes for this app. Both times it took the better part of a minute to enter two taps and a 12 digit code. The app also stopped responding after both codes were entered and the movies were not in my library after restarting the app. I hope I never get another digital copy code that has to be redeemed through this app.
