Description
Pocket Paint is a drawing app that allows you to edit graphics, images, and photos, make parts transparent, zoom in up to single pixel level, and much more! Together with Catrobat’s app Pocket Code it also allows you to easily create animations, apps, and games directly on your smartphone!
Images are saved under Photos and Gallery.
Features: -- Save images as .jpg (compressed), .png (lossless, with transparency), or .ora (keeping layer information) -- Layers (including moving up and down or merging them) -- Stickers from the Catrobat family images and more (only for this it accesses the internet) -- Tools: brush, pipette, stamp, circle/ellipse, cropping, flipping, zooming, line tool, cursor, fill tool, rectangle, eraser, moving, rotation and much more! -- Easy import of images and graphics -- Full screen drawing -- Color palette or RGBa values

Excellent, easy to use app with no ads. The functionality is not as extensive as PC editors, but it's perfect for quickly editing images on my smartphone.

Keeps crashing on images that seem to shrink when saved while you're still working on them! Losing everything!!! When you save the image, ug should be saved in whatever size/ resolution in which it was drawn, not go be reduced in size or resolution!!!

Awful product. Barely responsive and the selections of tools it has is very little. There's no box select, no circle select, no box cropping or circle cropping. Terrible.

When I try to draw a straight line, it starts from the bottom right corner, and it's glued there. I cannot move that end out of the corner, I can only move the other end. I also tried to add a rectangle shape, and I cannot resize the horizontal and vertical sides independently. Like what even is this.

27Sep2022:Saved in .ora format and when I opened the file a couple of hours later, three of the layers were blank. Lost hours of work. Since an upgrade to Android 12, the app has become extremely buggy. When switching between apps, work is lost as it starts a new file, or it hangs with a rotating icon on the screen. 04Aug2026:Refuses to save in 1500Γ2000,saved file defaults to 750Γ1000, regardless of workaround attempted, even a blank image. Updating app didn't help.
