Pocket Teleprompter for Video

Look at the lens, not at your notes. Pocket Teleprompter, a free teleprompter app for your phone, shows your script right under the camera while you film: you speak naturally, without memorizing, and keep eye contact with your audience. Made for content creators, teachers, trainers, entrepreneurs and anyone who speaks on video.

THE ESSENTIALS
• Your script scrolls right under the lens, so you look at the camera while you read
• Voice follow: the text moves at the pace of your speech and waits when you pause
• Floating prompter: your script stays on screen over your other camera and social apps, even when you go live
• AI writing assistant: one idea is enough to get a script; it can also shorten it, find a hook or translate it
• Vertical 9:16, square 1:1 and landscape 16:9 formats for all your videos
• Virtual backgrounds: blur your room or pick a new setting, no green screen needed
• Rehearsal mode to practice before you record

YOUR SCRIPT, YOUR PACE
• Adjustable speed, text size, width and height
• Mirrored text for teleprompter rigs
• Automatic, left-to-right or right-to-left reading direction
• Works with Arabic and other Unicode writing systems
• Write, paste or import your scripts (.txt), duplicate them and find them in seconds
• Try it right away with a sample script

YOUR VIDEOS
• Saved to your phone's gallery
• Watch, share, rename or delete your takes in My videos
• Not happy with a take? Delete it as soon as you stop recording and start again

PRIVACY
Your videos, scripts and background images stay on your phone: Pocket Teleprompter does not upload them to its servers. The only exception: when you use the AI writing assistant, your idea or script goes through our server to Anthropic (Claude), which writes the suggestion; we do not keep it. The camera and microphone are only used when you record or use voice follow. Voice follow uses Android's speech recognition, on the device when possible, otherwise through Google's recognition service. Usage, advertising and purchase data and crash reports are handled separately, as explained in our privacy policy.

Interface in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic.
