I liked the app because of 3k points for free users, but 300 points is not even enough to chat with Gemini 3.6 Flash (something I can send up to 100 messages on the Gemini app). 300 points is not even enough to test the custom bot I created. To every free user using Poe, I suggest that if you installed the latest version, it's high time you uninstalled it. It's through free users that one can get paying customers and not by forcing everyone to pay.

Beware! I've just lost my entire book, because the memory of Claude sonnet 5 was erased. It's worse than any free version. Also, I'm a paid user. I upgraded from 18k points per day to 45k points per day. The system knows it and simply takes a lot more points per query. Too obvious and not a decent way to conduct business. Basically a scam!

Key issues: - Access Barriers: External users must register and log in to view your bot—a dealbreaker for recruiters/hiring managers. - Aggressive Point Limits: Basic daily points drain fast during setup, pushing you to pay more money for extra points. - No Refunds: Support refused a refund despite the service being useless for public deployment. Avoid paying for Poe AI without reviewing their access restrictions first.
