What you learn
Hand rankings, kickers and split pots. Blinds, betting rounds and what each action means. Why position matters, which starting hands to play and how to open from every seat. Calling, 3-betting and folding against a raise. Pot odds, outs and equity, with the rule of 2 and 4. Continuation bets, board texture, semi-bluffs, value bets on the river and catching bluffs. Bet sizing and the stack-to-pot ratio. Tournament basics: stacks in big blinds, push or fold and the bubble. And the mental side of the game: variance, bankroll and tilt.

Made for beginners
Each lesson takes 3 to 5 minutes and opens with the idea it teaches, in plain words, so terms like kicker or pot odds are explained before you need them. A wrong answer comes back at the end of the lesson until you get it right, and the summary points out the mistakes you repeat most.

Study anywhere
The lessons are inside the app, so you can practice on the bus or on a plane with no connection. Poker Trainer is in English and Portuguese.

A training app, not a casino
There is no real money in the game. You don't bet, deposit or win anything. Chips and lives are game scores used only inside the lessons, and chips can't be bought.
