Description by FACTORY DIRECT IMPEX LTD Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
The core experience is built around explainable math. Each training prompt is generated from a local seed, so the same scenario can be reviewed again with consistent numbers and a clear calculation trail. Instead of simply marking an answer right or wrong, PokerSense separates common issues into calculation mistakes, conceptual misunderstandings and input-format problems. This makes review more useful for beginners and for returning players who already know the rules but want to become faster and more disciplined with mental math. The app highlights the difference between current pot, final pot, risk amount and required equity, which are areas where many learners make avoidable errors.
PokerSense includes a Today Math Plan screen that suggests one practical training action, an Odds Trainer for answering calculation prompts, a Formula Explain screen that breaks each formula into visible steps, a Drill Builder for choosing topic, difficulty and question count, and a Math Mastery screen that summarizes local progress. The visual design avoids casino-style pressure, flashy betting cues and misleading reward loops. It uses a clean learning interface with readable cards, clear buttons and direct feedback, so the user can focus on the math rather than on artificial excitement.
All key features are available without a network connection. PokerSense does not require an account, subscription, backend API, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or external service connection. Training history, preference settings and mastery progress are stored locally on the user's Android device. Users may import or export their own local training data through Android's system document picker when they want to move or back up their practice records manually. The app does not request broad storage access, contact access, location access, camera access, microphone access or internet access.
The Formula Explain screen is especially useful for careful study. A user can see how the final pot is formed, how the risk amount is identified, how pot odds are converted to break-even equity and how a call EV estimate is derived. This step-by-step approach helps users learn the structure of a calculation instead of memorizing isolated answers. The Drill Builder then lets users practice a specific area repeatedly, such as outs estimation or break-even equity, with difficulty settings that change the numerical range and precision expectations.
PokerSense is intended for responsible adult learning and private study. It does not encourage real-money gambling and should not be used to make decisions in live games or online poker rooms. The app is best used as a compact study notebook, mental math gym and formula reference for people who want to improve their understanding of poker decision math in a controlled, local, transparent environment.
