Description by PSSD Limited Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
The cannon is a very well-mannered one: it wears a top hat and a bow tie, and it never hurries you. Tin cans tumble, towers lean and crash down, glass jars clink and fall. When the last block is knocked down, the level is cleared.
Easy to learn, lovely to master
• Tap a block to fire at it. On some levels the Auto cannon keeps firing while you hold your finger down; the Big cannon fires heavy cannon balls.
• Each level gives points for clearing it, a bonus for every ball you save and for speed, and a Flawless bonus for a clear at the first try. Later levels are worth more, and boss levels add bonus points.
• Out of balls? Retry as often as you like. Or take a Rescue, or a Big Shot: a huge ball for your first shot.
150 levels and 15 bosses
The levels grow from a few tin cans to towers of hundreds of stacked blocks, and each one is a small physics puzzle: which block brings the most down? Every tenth level is a boss level with a layout of its own, and at levels 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 a big boss waits: three stages in a row, The Gate, The Castle and The Collapse, and the balls you save in one stage carry over to the next. After level 150 the game carries on: the levels come round again, and their numbers keep counting.
A weekly leaderboard, without an account
Once you have cleared level 20, the Weekly Run opens: 20 levels each week, the same for everyone, and your first win on each one counts. Career and boss leaderboards show your standing too.
No sign-in and no e-mail: the game gives you a name made of random words and numbers, so it says nothing about you. You can delete your data in the game at any time.
Play anywhere
No connection? Play on. Your results wait on your phone and are sent when you are back online. The weekly leaderboard and the ads need a connection.
Relaxing, and gentle on the eyes and ears
Soft paper scenery drifts slowly behind the towers. Sound and vibration can be switched off, and Reduce motion keeps the scenery still. You can share a picture of a level you cleared with a friend.
Good to know
• Polite Cannon is free to play and shows ads. Some you choose to watch, for a reward such as a Rescue; others appear between levels, never during one.
• The game is for players 13 and older.
• Languages: English, Español, Português (Brasil), Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Русский, Türkçe, Bahasa Indonesia, Tiếng Việt, 日本語, 한국어, العربية, हिन्दी, ไทย.
Thank you for stopping by, and have a lovely game.
