Description
The only seasonal allergy app powered by a network of sensors, which provide actual local, hourly data, rather than almanac-style guesses. Knowing what’s in the air RIGHT NOW means you can schedule the time you spend outside to align with lower levels of airborne allergens, and therefore feel better.
Prior to our revolutionary new sensors, pollen counts came from a small number of manual counting stations, which report 24-hour averages days after they’re collected. Then how do other apps report forecasts for today? They use computer models which guess based on those sparse, past reports, augmented with things like allergy medicine sales. No, we’re not kidding... This is a little like predicting the weather based on umbrella sales! We’re still growing our network of sensors, but in most areas, users report that our information is more accurate, timely, and useful.
In addition to pollen and mold data, Pollen Wise features a variety of other solutions and resources to help you manage your hay fever and/or asthma symptoms. By frequently logging how you feel, Pollen Wise can help you see your trigger patterns and avoid them. Also be sure to take advantage of our daily news videos, which provide timely maps, regional news, and useful tips.

I absolutely love Pollen Wise! It's great for quickly getting an idea of what the allergens in my area will be like. I've tried a few different apps and this is the best option by far.

LOVE!!! I have asthma and allergies so being able to know the conditions outdoors really help. Wear a mask outside during peak pollen count and this really helps. Have been for years long before covid came on the scene. Thank you, along with the alerts the app is easy to understand.

This app is very helpful, I just wish there was a sensor closer to my home... Update: you already have a new sensor very near me! Great job all!

I really like this app. It's straightforward and simple. A quick glance tells me all I need to know about the allergen levels and types in the air today, and whether it's a safe day to open my windows, or if I'm going to need to take an allergy pill.

I wish the notifications worked. I haven't received one yet, and I've been using this app for several months. Also, I would suggest showing the count every three hours instead of every six hours. Six hours is too long in between. I have severe outdoor mold symptoms, and it would be more beneficial to see the counts every three hours instead of six.

I used this app a lot and came to rely on it. I used it so much that I was considering the premium app. Now all the feature I relied on are no longer available. The detailed allergen levels and historical data were very useful for me.

Nearest sensor is "Very Far". From the answer given on the FAQ, this sounds like it could be anywhere from 100 to 1000+ miles away. Hard to know if the information is locally relevant at all. If the app & FAQ were honest enough to admit some locations are probably too far away to be helpful, but anything "Very Far" is within some distances still useful for local use it'd be helpful. As is currently presented, it sounds like the nearest sensor could be 3 states away. You don't need to give exact positions of your sensors to provide honest ranges like "10–20 miles", "20 to 50 miles", "50-100 miles", "100–200 miles", "200+ miles", so users in the 200+ miles zones can look for other options rather than delude themselves trusting the "Very Far" label to be locally applicable.

I really don't like how you changed the allergen chart, it makes it a lot harder to read. I liked it a lot bette, r when it was in list form, and it told you how high the pollen was for each allergen instead.
