What is the Pomodoro Technique?

A time management method created by Francesco Cirillo in Italy. Alternating 25 minutes of focus with 5 minutes of rest reduces mental fatigue and makes it much easier to stay focused for long stretches. It's also known as the "tomato timer" method, after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo originally used.

Set goals and track them by D-day

Add goals with a deadline — exams, certifications, project due dates — and see the days remaining alongside your accumulated focus time. Check exactly how much you've done today and how far you still are from your goal.

Build your own study habit with focus stats

Dodo Focus automatically records your daily focus time and turns it into stats. Your weekly Focus Score reflects how consistently and deeply you focused, while your Rank — from Initiate up to Apex — tracks your long-term progress. Keep your streak alive past the 7-, 30-, 90-, and 180-day milestones as you build a study routine that's truly yours.
