Pool & Billiards Self-Trainer

Practising alone is the hardest way to get better at pool. You turn up, hit balls for an hour, and leave with no idea whether it helped.

Pool & Billiards Self-Trainer is the practice log for players without a coach. It tells you what to work on, scores what you actually do, and shows you in numbers whether your game is moving.

DRILLS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
• 30 pool and billiards drills, each with a setup diagram, the exact shot sequence, and an explanation of what it fixes in your game
• Filter by skill focus — accuracy, cue-ball control, positioning — by difficulty and by how much table you have
• Search by name, and star the handful you actually rotate through

SCORE EVERY SHOT
• Tap made or missed as you go, or just enter the set total if you would rather count in your head
• Success rate for the current set and the whole session, while there is still time to fix it
• The target to beat — your own recent average on this drill — on screen before you start
• A rest timer between sets that alerts you with the phone face down, and a note attached to the set where the thing actually happened
• Save a session part way through and keep only what you played

LEVELS, SO A DRILL LASTS YEARS
• Every drill has a second, harder standard: a longer cue-ball distance, a thinner cut, a tighter requirement
• Clear the pass mark and the app offers you the harder level; fall well short repeatedly and it offers a step back down
• The rule is stated, not hidden, and you always have the final say

PROOF YOU ARE IMPROVING
• Your success rate on any single drill, charted over months
• A skill profile across accuracy, cue-ball control and positioning — including the area where you spend the time and get nothing back
• Personal records, each with the date it was set and the number it beat
• A calendar heat map of every day you have practised, and your streak of practice weeks

PLANS AND GUIDED SESSIONS
• Four ready-made programmes — beginner foundation, pre-tournament sharpening, return after a break, cue-ball control — or build your own by weeks, sessions per week and focus
• The plan lays itself out as numbered sessions with real drills; start today's from the home screen in one tap
• Mark a session done, skipped or moved, and the plan rearranges instead of breaking
• Six guided sessions run you through drills, timed breaks and mental cues, one step at a time

MATCHES, EXAMS AND THE HANDBOOK
• Log matches frame by frame, with venue, opponent and FARGO rating change
• See your practice success rate plotted against frames won in real matches, week by week
• Self-assessment exams based on clearing a full rack, so your whole game gets a number
• A full rules and technique handbook that works with no reception

POOL TRAINER PRO
The app is free — the drill library, session tracking, scoring, plans, exams, matches and your complete history. Pro widens the analysis: charts, records, streaks and the skill profile reach back over everything you have ever recorded, instead of the last 30 days. Nothing you record is ever hidden from you.

Pool Trainer Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and renews each month unless cancelled. Manage or cancel it in Google Play under Subscriptions.
