I understood this style of mobile game would be fairly linear but why give the illusion of choice? The game didn't even hide the fact that it ignored my selection. I chose "don't accept the defectors" from the tribe section and my selection hits me with "good on you being compassionate and accepting them back into the tribe" (not exact wording, but you get the idea). Why on earth would I respect a game that doesn't respect my decision, deleting immediately.

Pop Epoch is one of those games where the competition comes from pay to win. Thankfully, you don't have to compete. There is no competitive reason to pay besides staying on top with civilization. The problem here is that when you take the lead, you likely keep the lead in the server. There is no balance between each age, unfortunately. A new server comes about every few weeks. Bots overflow the server and slows down your progression. Then there is a lot to do until there is nothing to do.
