ABOUT PORTMEIRION
Portmeirion was designed & built by architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1978 in the style of an Italian village.
Clough wanted to show how the development of a naturally beautiful site need not lead to its defilement, his motto was:-
“Cherish the Past, Adorn the Present, Construct for the Future”
Portmeirion gave Clough pleasure during his life and he hoped that it would give pleasure to others.

Poor app. Frequent lock-ups. No information on many trails (e.g. coastal trail). Has to re-sync every time you open it (with no mobile signal and poor Wi-Fi this is often impossible). The 'map' is almost worthless - no useful detail at all.

The app looked near and nice unless you start using it. I hope a small portion of bandwidth is allocated to testing the app on different devices. The app was utter unusable as the Back to List button overlapped with Clock on my pixel, and the only option to navigate back was to kill and start the app again

App kept crashing pretty much every time I finished one of the audio guide segments. Some of the audio segments wouldn't load at all. Those I listened to were very good, with pertinent information without going overboard with waffle. Most audio segments seem to be between 1:30 min and 2 min long which is a good time length. When I first tried to use the app it wouldn't load up, giving server issues as the problem. Lady in the gift shop abused connecting to the site Wi-Fi which helped.
