Description
This is an UNOFFICIAL extension of the PowerUp app for multiple PowerUp 3.0 modules.
Pilot the PowerUp 3.0, first ever Smartphone Controlled Paper Airplane, with two PowerUp modules using the PowerUp 3.1 app. This unofficial extension of the app will enable you to get your fix for more power by adding on a second module! Want to pilot more than just single module aircraft?! This app is for you!
Steps to have multi-modules: * Close the app completely * Turn off all PowerUp modules * Open the app * Swipe to the right most screen to get settings * Enable the 2 modules setting * Turn on the module that will be attached to the left side of the aircraft. * Press the button to bind the left module. * After binding (engine noise) do the same for the right module.
If for some reason you cannot get both modules to bind close the app, open up recent apps and make sure you completely close it, then reopen the app and start again. This is the biggest issue at the moment and I'm working on fixing it.
Swipe to the right to get to the Diagnostics page. This page shows information for motor speed (useful when using the motors to control yaw) and module serial number information.
Let me know if there is something you would like to see in this application!
**************************************** NOTE 1: It may seem obvious, but this app requires at least one PowerUp 3.0 Smart module and is really only useful when used with 2 modules. --------- NOTE 2 - THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL APP. IT IS BETA IN NATURE. PLEASE PROVIDE CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK TO FURTHER ENHANCE ITS FUNCTIONALITY!!! ****************************************
As with the official PowerUp app the source is 100% free and open. Fork it on GitHub! https://github.com/mikejr83/app-powerup-android
Make sure to get the official app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tailortoys.app.PowerUp
Recent changes: * Updated the Smartlink library to get module IDs. * Show module IDs on the diagnostics page * Make layout readable on the Nexus 7.

★★★★★
This app is way better than the powerup 3.0/dart app. That app could not even start the the engine but this app ran flawlessly. Great app, I liked it.
★★★★★
Just waiting for my propellers to test When I clicked the option for using two modules the bind left and right buttons appear but now when I choose bind left, bind right is greyed out and won't let me select it. I don't have the modules to test yet. When I choose bind right first it seems to work ok. This is on my HTC one m8.
★★★★★
Better than original This app works even better than the official app for flying single modules. However, when flying two modules, there is a noticeable delay between one module reacting to your control inputs and the other module reacting to your control inputs.
★★☆☆☆
It was working fine and after the second connection, it abruptly stopped working.
