Edit - resolved! The installer did not transfer ownership to me, and I was locked out. Things look great, reasonably easy to navigate, makes scenes/schedules, etc. Updated rating accordingly Cannot pair Gen 3 gateway to app via Bluetooth - app is, therefore, completely useless There is nothing in the info that shows how to pair the Gateway to the app, and I have found nothing online

1/9/25 - Randomly stopped working in the middle of the day. Unplugged the hub for a half an hour, and it still doesn't work. 1/13/25. Got some help from Hunter Douglas. It is working now.

Actually pretty comprehensive and hasn't had an issue in the 24hrs I've been playing with it. You can configure scenes, schedules, the remote buttons, and even the hub's LED brightness in the app. Super easy to transfer ownership. The app even has an LED color chart to interpret the Hub's status. Definitely better than I expected given the low rating on here, so that was a pleasant surprise. I'll update this if it disappoints in the future, but so far would recommend.

When connected by Remote Connect, scenes don't activate, and StandBy Mode does absolutely nothing. Schedules regularly do not execute. "Calibrate Shade" does nothing. "Sync Shade Memory" slowly goes to a random percentage, then quits, throws an error, and the shade forgets scenes. Awful ownership experience, I am never buying Hunter Douglas blinds again.

Schedules and scenes regularly do not execute or execute partially. Often, individual shades do not respond, and there is no indication why. Even immediately after programming a scene, activating the scene partially executes.

Requires 24/7 access to location, whether using the app or not. Hunter Douglass replied to my previous review claiming this was a necessary permission, but this is false: an HTTP request to the local gateway, or through Hunter Douglass's servers to the gateway (which then forwards to request to the shades via Bluetooth) does not require permission to track my location.

Will not let me create scenes. I've restarted the phone the hub and reinstalled the app. No luck.
