Comments on PRO TREK Connected for Android

I'm very happy with the companion app that pairs with the watch. I had a WearOS watch for a few years and was skeptical at first. However, Casio has always been a leader in functionality. All these features inside a watch that runs for two years on a button battery. Impressive to say the least. My WearOS watch would die in a matter of hours. I rate 4 stars because it would be really nice if the step counter synced with a third party service like MyFitnessPal. Other than that, it's rock solid.

Best working, easiest to use casio Bluetooth connecting app. I have used so far. Being a Casio Collector I have 4 other Bluetooth connecting apps. And this one is the Best.

It's a new modification in protreks I am amazed to see it and hope that protrek will modify its watches even more than g shocks Love protrek app much better than g shock app

I used to love it, now it will no longer connect since the latest update. PRT-B50ft 1cr. Help casio.

It serves no additional purpose over the watch. You need to carry phone near the watch when connected. Phone already does what the watch does more. When connected to phone you cannot touch any buttons on the watch or app disconnects! Why it requires location enabled just to connect to the watch? The app does not have the only additional useful function listed in the manual, the phone finder to ring the phone! The app is just a gimmick to sound like a smartwatch. Watches are near obsolete

"Waiting for connection" notification on Android is constantly shown, never goes away no matter what you do. The only way to get rid of it is to disable app's notifications but this leads to the watch not being able to connect to the phone while the screen is off; you have to manually open the app and then start Route Log which defeats the purpose of usability; it should always connect to the phone while it's off and tucked away in the backpack. Location Point fails way too many times to connect
