Described as “Blues Clues meets Guitar Hero,” Prodigies gives kids a fun way to access pitch development activities, games, songs & lessons during their formative childhood years. This allows young kids (before age 8) to develop the amazing skill of perfect pitch!
Older children can start at the beginning to build up their musical ear, or jump in on Level 2 material where we’re focused on more difficult songs, concepts, theory and instruments. This app is not without its problems. I initially had trouble making an account. The videos don't automatically keep playing, so you have to help your kid every 3 minutes. The app is not super well organized. HOWEVER, this is the most effective music teaching content for young children I have ever come across. We bought the bells and our 3-year-old LOVES practicing with the videos. She sings along to the "notifies" solfège music as she goes to sleep. It is really well done.

I was really excited to try this app after watching some of the free YouTube videos. But I'm experiencing nothing but bugs trying to get into it. In the app, you push join now, then it has you do a little math problem, then it takes you back to the same screen you were on before. So I tried making an account online. I confirmed my account by clicking the link in the email, and still the app doesn't let me in. There are also loops online to where you can't get anywhere.
