Prodigy Lightfield

Hold an intention and see what chance does.

Every second, Prodigy Lightfield reads hundreds of random bits and transforms them into light. The color shows which way the randomness is drifting, while the brightness shows how far it has moved.

Most of the time, the field remains dim, gently wandering through its colors as randomness behaves much as expected. But when the drift becomes statistically unusual, the field opens into a radiant rainbow: a coherence event.

Watch Lightfield full screen, or float it in a small window while you use other apps. You can even share a field with a friend anywhere in the world and watch the same changes together in real time.

When something meaningful, surprising, or simply interesting happens, you can mark the moment: turn on the Mark button in Settings, under Advanced, and it joins the bar. When you tap "Stop," Lightfield saves the complete session, including its peak, every coherence event, every mark you made, and the statistical odds associated with it. A free Prodigy Account keeps your sessions synced across your devices.

Everything above is free.

Lightfield Plus expands the experience with random bits from a quantum source at the Australian National University, four additional color themes, notes for your marks, and Room Light.

With Room Light, Lightfield can send the field’s color to one or more Matter lights on your home network, allowing the light around you to change in real time with the field on your screen.

Lightfield Plus is a subscription, monthly or yearly, with a seven-day free trial. It is billed through your Google account on Google Play and renews automatically until canceled. If your plan starts with a free trial, the first charge comes when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Manage or cancel it any time in the Google Play Store app, under Payments and subscriptions.
