projectM is the most advanced music visualizer available on the Android Market. It has the smoothest graphics, the most presets, and is the most responsive to music. It can be used as a Live Wallpaper or standalone app.
projectM will visualize any sound playing on your phone. If there is no audio playing, projectM will visualize your microphone input!
projectM is essentially a rewrite of MilkDrop with modern technologies. It is compatible with MilkDrop (.milk) presets.

To increase quality or performance, adjust texture size under settings. Mesh size is also useful if texture size isn't enough.

Recent changes: This release should bring the return of track info, with some cool animations. Also a newer revision of the open-source rendering engine (As of Dec 2025).
The M should be gone now.
I've also fixed Shuffle, or I should say, the ability to disable shuffle so the presets play linearly.

I've been a fan of this app for over 10 years and love the new rendering engine—it makes the visuals look much better. It's unfortunate that Chromecast support is gone, but an HDMI adapter works as a workaround. I'd love to see touch support return, as it makes the visuals feel more immersive, along with preset playlists. Also, "Best on Top" appears to sort presets backward, showing the worst first. Hopefully these minor issues can be fixed in an otherwise excellent Android visualizer.

This is the only music visualizer that's worth paying for, and the free version is awesome too. This is the true Milk drop/Geiss visualizer from the old Winamp AVS days.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DEVELOPER ABANDON APP, & YOU'LL DEFINITELY NEED SUPPORT. There's much that doesn't work. Contacted for refund and nothing. No Reply & No Refund. Developer found the time to steal my money for this app since he chose to abandon the app, but can't find the time to pull the app, or announce he's no longer offering support. 😉

Microphone will not work on the app pro version. I used the non-pro version and no problems. Tried on 3 different phones and with and without ear buds, two separate sets the app will not pick up the mic
