ProofDeck Bake Cards

ProofDeck Bake Cards is an offline-first bakery bench companion for home bakers and small-batch pastry cooks. Plan fermentation stages, baker’s percentages, and reverse bake-day timing with tactile proof cards—not endless recipe photos. No social feed, no camera lab, no cloud kitchen: pure local bench math that works on a flour-dusted counter with zero signal. STAGE RAIL PLANNER Work a horizontal rail of ordered cards for autolyse, mix, bulk, fold, shape, final proof, bake, and cool. Drag to reorder within safe baking rules. Dial dough temperature and room temperature; each card’s duration and next-action chip recalculates instantly so the plan stays trustworthy as kitchen conditions change. TEMPERATURE-AWARE TIMING Bulk and proof windows rescale from your dough and room inputs. Plain-language feel chips (tight, on track, sluggish) tell you how the dough should behave without guesswork. BAKER’S PERCENTAGE FORMULAS Lock total flour; water, salt, preferment, and inclusions stay in true baker’s % with instant gram outputs. Scrub hydration and flour-blend cards (bread flour, high-extraction, rye, whole wheat, seeds, mix-ins) and watch hydration suggestions rebalance. PREFERMENT BUILDER Attach levain, poolish, or biga cards with inoculation %, hydration, and ready-by windows folded straight into the main rail so pre-ferments and final dough stay in sync. REVERSE BAKE-DAY SCHEDULES Choose a serve-by or oven-load time and the whole rail schedules backward across today, tonight, or tomorrow—so bulk starts when you are actually free. LIVE STAGE RUNNER Flip one fullscreen card at a time with a steam-ring countdown, next-action banner, fold-count chips, and skip/extend controls. Stay in the flow without hunting through menus. SEED LOAF LIBRARY (12+) Country boule, baguette, focaccia, pizza dough, sandwich loaf, cinnamon swirl, ciabatta, rye sandwich, dinner rolls, olive loaf, chocolate chunk, and same-day pizza—each with a complete stage rail ready on cold start. Duplicate any seed into the custom formula studio, toggle g/oz, and keep user formulas and active rails fully offline on device. OPTIONAL NOTIFICATIONS & WIDGET Stage-ready alerts plus a home widget showing the current or next stage card so you can glance at the bench plan without opening the app. Built for bakers who want clear stage math, not another recipe browser. Open it once, pick a seed or build a formula, set serve-by, and bake with a rail you can trust.
