Build, simulate and learn about electronic circuits with PROTO circuit simulator
PROTO is a real-time circuit simulator that lets you build, simulate, and learn electronics with a rich component library and a four-channel oscilloscope. It supports real-time parameter tuning, circuit export, and sharing, making it a strong educational tool for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32 projects. Not ranked in any top list, PROTO has garnered a broad audience with a 4.63 average rating from 12,294 reviews and over 1,000,000+ total downloads.
Pros & Cons
Real-time simulations with a four-channel oscilloscope
Extensive component library across Analog, Digital, and Misc packs
Export and share circuits as PNG/JPG/PDF and print/workspace export
Supports Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32 workflows for hands-on projects
Less emphasis on calculator-style features and pinout guides compared to some competitors
Not ranked in any top list, which may affect discoverability for some users
Some competitors foreground broader design tools (e.g., design-oriented electronics features) that PROTO does not explicitly spotlight

Description
Are you looking for tools like Multisim, SPICE, LTspice, Proteus, Altium or PhET simulations? That's great! PROTO is an real time electronic circuit simulator which means you are able to setup a circuit with various components and simulate behaviour of the electronic circuit โก During simulation you can check voltages, currents and many other variables. Check signals on multichannel oscilioscope and tune your circuit in real time! Our app can greatly help with your Raspberry Pi, Arduino or ESP32 project. You can also use PROTO as logic circuit simulator and perform digital electronic analysis!

Opamp's positive feedback does not work correctly, positive feedback acts as negative most of the time. A circuit with led/ccs without all its pins attached, makes the simulation slow, due to heavy high voltage across them for nowhere, just a 1Gohm to gnd might solve that. For ccs(a max voltage let's say 1KV/1MV might solve that. There is no voltage limit,. So a few pA circuit can go random 100GV. Capacitors need ESR(because there is not, shorted cap error, series diode problem)

I use it almost every day. Works great. I paid for the full app and don't regret it. Word to the wise- don't obsess over circuits. There is more to life than electronics! Lol Suggestions for the devs: I would like to see my saved circuits appear across all my devices and would love a feature that would let me capture or scan an image of a schematic and copy it into Proto. More parameters for discrete components would be useful as well. Thanks to the devs. Keep up the good work.

This is not on which you trust 100% it's having lots of issues don't follow all rules of power electronics like kvl, kcl. And more

Good but.you need to build the OSCILLOSCOPE(CRO) in the available components section.hope u will do it soon.

It shows a capacitor across a circuit as a short instead of a filter
