Comments on Ptv Alert for Android

★★★★★ lola australia · Jan 20, 2026

I love the app, but I wish I could keep the light mode even if my phone has a default dark theme. It's because the dark one on PTV alert shows as a mox of light and dark, making the map hard to read. Is that a bug? Nothing phone

★★★★★ K Pahl-Duffy · Mar 26, 2026

Fantastic app. Really helps keep the community safe from animals sighted during transit.

★★★★★ James Thomas · Aug 25, 2025

Works very well, my only concern is that there may not be enough users currently so not all dogs will be identified

★★★★★ The Troller · Jul 25, 2025

This app is exactly what the Melbourne community needs

★★★★★ Jenny Jiou · Aug 30, 2025

Great for tracking dogs, hopefully more will join!

★★☆☆☆ Brendan Hinds · Aug 20, 2025

Good idea, but has screen layout glitches like the 'your location' centering button being obfuscated under the black upper border... Also needs separate report buttons and map icons to differentiate between tram and train inspectors.

Really love the concept of this app, but it never works for me. I've tried using it a few times, but literally it doesn't function whatsoever. Only the report button works & even then, it always says it failed to report. The user interface is also confusing. So much potential & possibility to help a lot of people.
