Update July 2024: Pulse SMS continues to deliver my text messages in a stable and timely manner. Recently had a windows based issue with the app. Pulse SMS support helped me correct the issue quickly. Outstanding app!

★★★★★ Edit:*just had an update on 8/6/24 that fixed the UI issue with the Google Pixel 8 I upgraded from the Google Pixel 2 to Pixel 8. The interface for the pixel 8 pro doesn't fit the screen. Half the send button is cut off and part of the text bar.

★★☆☆☆ Was good previously, minimal permissions required and smooth workings. Now it's just terrible. MMS fails to send constantly. Some people don't even receive the texts I send. I pay for a subscription but will be cancelling it immediately. Fail, Pulse. Fail.

★★☆☆☆ I've used this app for several years now. It used to work amazing, and I preferred it over any other messaging platform. Now it just seems to be full of bugs and issues. The last year has been frustrating with missing messages, notifications not appearing, issues sending media, and lots of other annoying issues. My guess is this happened all when Maple Media acquired the app and didn't maintain it. Time to find a new messaging app :(
