I've used this app for a couple of years and I love it! Very simple to use and extremely dependable to keep your writing. I am a bit bummed about the more recent updates though. I know Pro is very important to the creator since they don't have intrusive ads for money (thank you for that!!), but I feel like the options for what the + button leads to should have remained the same or at least be a free feature. Personally, I won't use TTS or read aloud, so it's much less convenient than before.

The app doesn't back up at all. It doesn't matter if I'm signed in to Google drive or Dropbox or OneDrive. The files will not sync with any service, so I can view them off the phone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice, and it won't connect.

It has become very unstable. It keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi. I wouldn't mind if it happens once in a while, but this is a constant now. It's extremely frustrating for it to keep disconnecting while I'm typing my story.

This is a perfectly acceptable text editor, for the most part; I haven't had as much trouble as some people with the interface, but there's one critical problem with it: the app holds your files for ransom. The format they're stored in is obfuscated, and if you want to actually get a text file out of this text editing program, you have to pay for pro or use the free trial; this is something of a dealbreaker for anyone who's actually writing, and not just taking notes for themselves.
