App doesn't measure distance traveled when using the smart switches only when you use the tic watch. I traveled over 3 miles yesterday, my first day with the smart drive and only using the switches but none of the travel was documented. However, today if I turn on the drive with the watch and hold the smart drive in my lap to experiment, it shows all the distance traveled. Please update this as it is not a fair representation of our use when using the switches.

I just wanted to reassure other smart drive users that with the new push tracker e2, it is not necessary to use this app to control it...this is simply the wheelchair equivalent of a step counter, and not something I am interested in. The Smart drive MX2+ app that you download to the push tracker itself is what controls the smart drive, not this app. I thought it's important to note as was panicking that I had wasted my money on the new push tracker thinking I might have to run this badly rated app.

As this goes hand in hand with Smart Drive MX2+ this is a waste of time app. Permobil needs to concentrate on the Smart Drive MX2+ app as this not very good app has reduced my mobility. Read app review below. The app took a few times to load and never worked until I found advice by other reviewers on other sites to tell you to install wearOS on the watch as well as your iPhone. There are no instructions that I was able to find immediately with the watch even though the demo videos made it look a dream. I will repeat, this watch is not fit for purpose. As I am ok at getting about software issues and having been a long time Apple user I managed to get to grips with the software. I read a line that it would take about 1 week for the battery to stabilize, so I was ok with that, but what was unusual was the watch was draining faster than any other electronic piece of hardware I have ever used. I had completed all available updates and installed these to the Smart Drive. The watch was draining faster than ever at this stage. The watch was probably charged 5 or 6 times to 100% before I was able to get out and use it. I managed only about 4 /5 kms as the watch was draining too fast, so I had to return home. I do have portable battery chargers but why should I have to use yet another piece of hardware to prolong the power of a brand-new watch. The watch is not fit for purpose. I did the same again the next day and with only the Smart Drive MX2+ app running the watch lasted just over an hour, about 6 km before I had to return again. This has been repeated with the same results. As I have been using a Smart Drive for 5 years then suddenly fail by not accepting a charge, which by the way had a wristband controller that would last a couple of days from a full charge, to receiving my second Smart Drive, the MX2+ which is absolutely a premium piece of kit, to be paired up with a 5th class piece of plastic watch that is in no way fit for purpose and needs addressing immediately. It is absolute utter lunacy for a business to release a product that is world-class to let it be released with extremely poor software and hardware as this has dragged the smart drive name into the gutter and made vital mobility equipment non-trustworthy. Just to have your name tarnished by a cheap plastic watch and terrible software is incomprehensible. Reading the response of Permobil in other reviews, I do not believe that any software update will fix the battery problem I believe that these drives will be returned with a heavy heart all because of a watch that is not fit for purpose. I'm truly gutted that I can't use my SD MX2+ because of this. To summarize: Smart Drive MX2+ - 10/10 wearOS - 2/10 Tic Watch E2 0747 - 1/10 I'm happy to discuss this matter with the company.
