PYOUR Audio also offers a range other features like noise control (which includes noise cancellation and street mode settings), balance and mono settings, 12 band linear equalizer, 5 band parametric equalizer, text to speech function for caller ID etc.
The app is merely a control module to personalize your ZIK. Once you’ve set the functions, your ZIK will hold your personalized settings and you don't need to have the PYOUR Audio app connected.
The app will install the supported functionality in your Parrot ZIK2.0 or ZIK3. You can try the app and the full functionality for free during 10 days. During this time, the app can only be used if you are connected to the internet. If you then wish to permanently install the functions in your ZIK, you can do so via a onetime purchase in the app.
The PYOUR Audio app can work alongside the existing Parrot ZIK app, but you can connect only one app at a time to your ZIK.

Wow! Parrot should take notes! As much as I love my Zik headphones (on my 3rd pair), but I'm about ready to ditch them because the app has been useless for months now (crashes in Android 8) and so I can't switch noise-cancelling modes on any of my new phones. This app not only fix is that issue, but adds functionality that should have been on these headphones to begin with, and I am so grateful for that. I hate to see what the prices going to be for this, but it may be worth it to be able to keep using my headphones.

I purchased the in-app upgrade on 13 January 2023. I reinstalled the app on my phone, and it would not activate. I contacted support, and they have fixed and reinstalled the app with my hearing aid audio gram settings. Excellent!

Upon initial install PYOUR app will install firmware 3.08 to the Zik. Unfortunately it then tells the user that the supposed 10-day trial is already expired, so there is no chance to test it. Also, the newly installed firmware renders the Parrot app partially disabled (concert hall is broken) until the firmware is downgraded back to 3.07. Recommend not installing.
