Qibla Finder – Qibla Compass

Qibla Finder shows the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca from where you are, with a compass, a map and the distance. Hold your phone flat and turn: when the green needle points straight up, you are facing the Qibla.

🧭 COMPASS
• The Qibla angle (from true north) and the straight-line distance to the Kaaba.
• When the phone faces the Qibla the dial lights up green and gives a short buzz.
• True north correction: the phone's magnetic compass is corrected for the magnetic declination where you are (World Magnetic Model 2025).
• Accuracy indicator: the phone's own rating of its sensor and the measured strength of the magnetic field. It warns you when a nearby magnet, metal or electronic device is bending the compass.
• Calibration helper: shows your progress while you draw a figure eight in the air with the phone.
• Compass information: the numbers behind the needle, live (magnetic heading, declination, true heading, field strength).

🗺️ MAP
• The shortest (great-circle) path from where you are to the Kaaba over a satellite picture.
• Country names in the language of the app; without a connection, a map drawn from country outlines.

📍 LOCATION
• The phone's approximate location is all it needs: a few kilometres make no difference to the Qibla, so precise location is never requested.
• Offline city search: about 34,000 places of more than 15,000 people, with place names in 11 languages.
• Coordinate entry (such as 41.0082 or 41.0082 N) and your recent places.

🎨 LOOK
• Three compass styles (green, gold, classic), night mode, degree scale, 3D or 2D Kaaba picture.
• 11 languages: Türkçe, English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Português, Italiano, Русский, 日本語, 한국어, العربية.

🔒 PRIVACY
• No account and no server of ours. Your location is used only on the phone to work out the direction; the app does not send it to us or to the ad provider.
• The map downloads satellite tiles for the area you are looking at, and ads come from the internet. Details are in the privacy policy.

ℹ️ GOOD TO KNOW
• The Qibla angle is calculated, and an approximate location does not change it; the direction on the screen is only as accurate as your phone's compass. A magnet, metal, a loudspeaker or a magnetic case can bend the compass by more than a few degrees: move away from them and calibrate when needed.
• On a phone without a compass sensor the Qibla angle and the map are still shown.

Free app: an ad banner sits at the bottom in its own strip and never covers the content. A full-screen ad appears only after a completed place search or when you leave the map, at most once every 4 minutes, and never while the compass or the calibration is running. If you prefer no ads, the app offers a monthly or yearly "Ad-free membership" subscription that you can cancel at any time in Google Play.
