Qirat

Stay connected to your community in the moments that matter most.

Qirat helps you discover janazah (funeral) prayers happening near you so you can attend, pray, and pay your respects to the deceased —
fulfilling the communal duty (fard kifayah) and earning the great reward promised to those who attend.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever attends the janazah until the prayer is performed will have one qirat of reward..." (Bukhari). The app is named
after that very reward — a small reminder of what you stand to gain by simply being present.

KEY FEATURES

• Real-time alerts — Get a push notification the moment a janazah is scheduled in your area, so you never miss the chance to attend.

• Nearby prayers — See janazah prayers around you with the mosque, time, and details for the family of the deceased.

• Location-personalised — Choose your city or enable precise location to see the most relevant prayers near you.

• Clean, respectful design — A calm, distraction-free interface focused on what matters: the prayer.

• Built for Muslims, by Muslims — Crafted with care for the global Muslim community, available in both English and Arabic.

PRIVACY-FIRST
