SCANNING Scanning real objects has never been easier. Print the included AR mat, place your object in the middle of the mat and let the Augmented Reality dome guide you through the scanning process. Scan the object from two different angles and it will be auto merged for better and more complete 3D results. With Qlone, there is no waiting time, all processing is done live on your phone in seconds. Print the mat directly from the app or send it as a mail and print out.
MODIFYING With the integrated tools in the app so you can optimize and modify your 3D model without needing to export them.
Texture - Pick colors from the scanned object and apply them by painting directly on the 3D model. Blur areas or transitions for smoother results. Clean - Improve the quality of the model by erasing unwanted areas or smoothing the surface. Sculpt - Improve or alter the shape of your object by pressing or pulling a selected area and adjust the transition. Shape - Enhance the mesh details or set the scale size of your model for 3D printing, simplify the mesh for lower file size export.
AR View + Animation: You can beam your 3D models back to reality and bring them to life with automatic rigging and animation.
EXPORTING and IMPORTING: Export your model directly to platforms like SketchFab. Models can be exported in a variety of formats for use in other 3D tools – OBJ, STL, FBX, GLB (Binary glTF) which includes animation, PLY, X3D.

Contrary to the reviews, this does work, and it works pretty well. You have to start the recording, get it to where you're knocking out the blue sections by walking around the object until all the blue sections are gone. If it's red you're too far away. This will be a five-star app someday, but congratulations on this milestone.

Just got the app, so I have the latest version. So that would not be the issue. I am also using a Galaxy 9 Note, and it works fine. So that is not the issue. Had just made some tracker mats with plane paper. They look good. So that is not the issue. Have plenty of lighting also. Still it will not track the mat or the model well at all. It keeps loosing focus or something. After several attempts, even merging many scans to help improve the scan, the model still turns out bad. But what upsets me the most about this is I contacted the developer via e-mail to ask if I would have to pay for exporting my models. And was told if I get the paid version, as I did here, I can export as many models as I want. Well, I just tried to export my model into a usable file, and it was asking me to pay for credits to export my model. I would not have paid for this if I had to do that. I had been lied to about it. So I paid about $20 for this junk, that not only makes junk models, but I can't export my models to a usable file for free, as I was told I could either. Rip off. >.<

Terrible app the idea of scanning objects on this does not work. I've tried everything, more light less light. Different objects. Just a waste of 30 bucks.

The most frustrating and disappointing app I have (attempted) to use in a long time. ++UPDATE++ I managed to do a complete scan without having the app crash halfway through. I tried scanning a simple, non-shiny, opaque object. The result was an unrecognizable blob. I would like a refund please.
