No account. No ads. No data brokers. Quies is a daily journal, an audio diary and a mental health companion built on one promise: what you leave here belongs to you alone.
WHAT YOU GET
A daily anchor. Every morning Quies offers one short question to start from — something to notice, something to be thankful for, something you have been carrying around. Answer in a sentence or answer in three pages. Ignore it entirely and open a blank page instead.
Voice entries. Some days are easier said than typed. Tap once and talk; speech becomes text on the device itself, so the audio never travels anywhere. Good for the walk home, the drive, the ten minutes before bed.
Mood tracker. Log how the day landed in two taps and let the pattern build. After a few weeks you stop guessing and start seeing — the stretch that wore you down, the days that lifted, the small habits that keep showing up beside the good ones.
Guided reflection. Prompts for the harder evenings: a CBT thought record for the spiral you cannot argue your way out of, a grounding exercise for anxiety, a gratitude practice for when everything has gone flat. Each one is short, plainly written, and never preachy.
Search that remembers for you. Pull up any entry by word, by month, or by how the day scored. The thing you set down in March is two seconds away.
Streaks that forgive. Quies counts the days you show up and says nothing about the days you do not. Missing a week is not a failure state.
Photos and small details. Attach a picture, a song title, or a place to an entry when the words on their own will not hold it.
Built for one hand in a dark room. Large type, a real dark theme, and no notifications nagging you back to it. Nothing in here blinks or buzzes at you.
PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT
Everything lives on the device. Entries, audio, emotions, summaries — none of it is uploaded, synced to a server, or read by anyone, us included. There is no login, so there is no account to leak. There is no ad network, so nothing you set down is turned into a profile.
Lock it behind a fingerprint, face unlock, or a PIN. Export a plain-text or PDF backup whenever you want one, and erase everything with a single tap when you do not. It works offline start to finish — on a flight, in a basement, or with the radios off because you felt like it.
WHO IT IS FOR
People managing anxiety, worry, or burnout who need somewhere to set it down.
People in therapy who would rather arrive with the week already worked out.
People building a self-care habit that does not involve a feed.
People who tried other apps and closed them the second they were asked for an email address.
Anyone who thinks better with their hands moving.
A FEW WAYS PEOPLE USE IT
As a nightly wind-down, five minutes with the lamp on.
As an audio diary spoken into a parked car.
As an emotion tracker through a medication change worth watching.
As a gratitude list on the mornings that need one.
As a scratchpad for the argument you are not going to send.
WHAT IT IS NOT
Not therapy, and not a substitute for it. Not a social network — there is nobody to follow and nobody to impress. Not a productivity system with a chain you have to defend. It is a room with a door that closes.
AT A GLANCE
• Type it or speak it, transcribed on device
• Emotion tracker with weekly patterns
• CBT thought record and grounding exercises
• Gratitude prompts for the flatter weeks
• Journal with lock: fingerprint, face or PIN
• Offline journal app, no account, no sync
• Search by word, month or mood; export to PDF
GETTING STARTED
Open it. Put one line down about today. That is the whole onboarding. Come back tomorrow if it helped.
Small enough for a bad day. Quiet enough to keep for years.
If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line where you live. Quies is a tool for reflection, not urgent care.
