QUICK AND SIMPLE COMMISSIONING RAB’s simple-to-use mobile app allows users to quickly pair and commission a residence or even large commercial project, in record time. Each device in our Bluetooth Mesh system can communicate with any other device, eliminating the need for a Gateway or Hub. Lightcloud Blue offers the ability to commission hundreds of devices simultaneously and begin controlling your space in minutes.
SECURE Lightcloud Blue offers the industrial-grade security communications within the mesh network. All messages within RAB’s Lightcloud Blue network are encrypted and authenticated.

CUSTOMIZABLE Personalize your space with a click of a button. The mobile app offers easy on/off, dimming, and color control. Group lamps and fixtures into Areas for the ability to control multiple devices at once. Create Scenes and Schedules and assign them to individual devices or Areas to quickly configure the lighting for your space.
LUMINAIRE LEVEL LIGHTING CONTROL (LLLC) Qualifies for LLLC utility incentive programs. Wireless, integrated Lightcloud Blue controls enable fast commissioning and simple management. Make quick adjustments to sensor settings directly from the mobile app, including occupancy/vacancy, sensitivity levels, and manual settings for occupancy timeout. Reduce energy costs and improve occupant experience with granular or Area control using occupancy, dimming, high-end trim and more.
SMARTSHIFT SmartShift is a circadian lighting system that matches the natural patterns of daylight and helps our bodies get back in sync with the sun. When enabled, it automatically tunes the color and intensity of lamps and fixtures throughout the day, mimicking the sun's changing light as it rises and sets. We’ve already created some SmartShift Presets for you in the app or create your own for customizable control.
SPECIALTY Lightcloud Blue offers unique embedded features such as At-Home and Emergency Mode. At-Home creates the appearance that the space is occupied, by automatically scheduling lamps and fixtures to randomly turn on, dim, and turn off throughout the day. Emergency Mode serves as a visual notification that, when enabled, will randomly flash the lights to deter trespassers or signal there is an emergency.

I love this I'm able to have lights on before I walk in my front door at night. I love the color adjustments for it during the day. And I love that it can go on and off when I'm not home, and I'm traveling to appear that someone is home period and that the light will adjust

The app is super buggy. It only opens after I force close and reopen. Smart shift takes forever to turn on and turn off. The step size for dimming is so small that using the buttons on the switch is almost impractical, it takes a full 10 seconds to brighten the lights from all the way dim, and there's no way to adjust this in the app. When brightening from the lowest setting the lights flicker. When setting CCT values in smart shift, often the settings don't save.

Not sure if this is really an issue with the app or just their ecosystem in general. Why do I need to log in every time I use the app if I wish to use my phone to turn on or off lights? It's an odd friction point. The app is no longer connecting to the lights, I can still control them with the remote which is good I'm wary of removing them from the app and trying to re-add them because then they'll probably lose remote functionality as well. Sometimes it randomly doesn't accept my password

Constantly have to log in and lights don't always connect rite away. Set up fingerprint, but I still have to enter a password. I would like to be able to come in a room and quickly adjust light levels.
