Description

La Radio Carrasco inició oficialmente a emitir su señal como una emisora de propiedad de la Federación de Comunidades Interculturales Carrasco Tropical, el 6 de junio del año 2007, con personal comprometido con la causa de la Organización de la Federación Carrasco y bajo la responsabilidad del Secretario de Prensa y Propaganda Daniel Huaranca. El Secretario Ejecutivo de la Federación el Sr. Severo Huanca y la Ejecutiva la Sra. Mary Luz Ventura, fueron quienes gestionaron la consolidación de lo que hoy es la Radio Carrasco.
Es importante destacar que este medio surge gracias a la colaboración del Sr. Saturnino Fernández quien, en su intención de conseguir un terreno para su Universidad hizo contactos con dirigentes de la Central Ivirgarzama con la intención de donar equipos para una emisora.
Por razones desconocidas el benefactor decidió donar sus equipos de la radio a la Federación, razón por la cual lleva el nombre de Carrasco, desde su inicio la radio trabaja en instalaciones de la Federación.
