It would be nice to string together several episodes into a 2-hour listening block. Otherwise, it works very well, and I've enjoyed it for over two years. I use it in tandem with SiriusXM's Radio Classics channel that has similar content and each week publishes its selection of two hour blocks. SiriusXM does not have an on-demand library of individual episodes. I use the paid subscription version of Radio Spirits.

I love old time radio, and this app makes it so much easier to find the shows that I enjoy. Unfortunately, when I try to get the paid version, all it does is spin in place.

Just renewed after my initial 6-month subscription, except for having to constantly restart the app, we could at least listen to full episodes. Now since we renewed for a second six months, the episodes are stopping at the 3-minute mark. UPDATE: received a suggestion from support and turns out it was battery saver, removed the restriction and listening to whole episodes again. Thanks!

I love old time radio. I listen to Radio Classics on Sirius all the time. I have an issue with my Sirius subscription, so I was excited to try this app. I don't have a problem playing the free episodes of When Radio Was, but that's it. I have tried desperately to give them my money by signing up for a plan but here's no way to do it except in the app. And it doesn't work in the app. The player itself isn't great, you can't quickly skip forward or backwards, there's just a slider that's not great.

I see all the shows I want to listen to, and I can't because when I try to hit subscribe all it does is keep loading the page even after restarting my phone
