Description
Radiolab is a show about wonder, curiosity and big ideas. Hailed by critics as “best radio show,” Radiolab presents a potent elixir of science and philosophy, first-person storytelling and radio theatre, all woven together with the most innovative sound design to ever spill out of the radio. Hosted by Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich and produced by WNYC, the show is heard on more than 300 public radio stations around the country.
The Radiolab app is all about curiosity, too. More than just a companion to the broadcast, the app is an extension of the Radiolab experience and its spirit of exploration, possibility and play.
By downloading the Radiolab app, you can…
· Listen to every podcast of the show from the very beginning to the latest release.
· Make your own audio effects, text and photos based on specific requests from Jad and Robert and upload them via Soundcloud.
· Read blogs and updates from the show.
· Share podcasts via email, Facebook and Twitter.
· Receive push notifications of news, new episodes and Radiolab events.
· And Access all of the above through a truly unique user experience that’s not just about navigation, but exploration.

Liked it buuuut.... The only reason i bought the app were to have full acess to the podcasts, but they skip! I will be listening and it will occasionally skip forward or backward and when i try to rewind it it will keep skipping in the same spot! Please fix this.

This app is fine, don't know why everyone is whining. If you want to go back to your spot on the podcast, then download it, it's free. Radio is wonderful, I don't mind giving them $3.

Nothing to read in "MAKE" section. Even tapping on an entry in the "MAKE" section, it does not show anything to read. It's just a blank page :-(

Why oh why radiolab? I love your show and because of that I'm giving you 2 stars even though I want to give you one. You should always choose functionality over useless interface. I shouldn't have a heart attack to find the saved podcasts. 5 stars for shows, 0 stars for app

I feel a little guilty giving the whole app such a poor rating when the MAKE feature, honestly the only reason I paid for it, is what really hurts the app. According to Google Play, I have the latest version and the developers claim the MAKE section was fixed with the latest update. However, no scripts appear on my phone or tablet when I attempt to record; just the title. Not fun. Not fair. I'm happy to support my favorite podcast. It's $3.00, and not breaking my finances to spend it, but, I already used a podcatcher to listen to the shows. I didn't need this. The allure was the ability to contribute and possibly hear my voice during a show. I will keep it in the hopes that eventually the MAKE section gets fixed for good. For now, I'm really not impressed.
