Rage Dragon

Rage Dragon is a pocket hitch-and-tongue studio for first-time rental-trailer drivers, boat-ramp families, horse-trailer weekends, and farm-utility owners. Couple a seeded trailer the right way and land hitch class plus tongue weight before you leave the rental lot.

This is not a trip diary and not a pad-leveling tool. When a seeded rig rolls onto the night lot, you drop the coupler on the ball, latch it, cross the chains, seat the 7-pin, then slide cargo until the tongue needle locks in the safe band.

SEEDED RIG CARDS
Pick a utility trailer, pop-up camper, jet-ski trailer, horse trailer, or car-hauler. Each card includes GVWR, empty weight, axle station, and coupler height so your practice run matches a real rental.

LIVE COUPLING
Lower the coupler onto the ball, flip the latch, click the pin, and hear the lock. Rehearse the same choreography you will run on the lot.

TONGUE-WEIGHT BENCH
Slide cargo fore and aft until the needle sits in the 10-15% target band. Axle-load callouts display in lb or kg so you can see how a cooler, saddle, or spare moves the hitch.

HITCH CLASS I-V
The matcher lights the legal plate for the live tongue and trailer ratings. Confirm class before you leave the counter.

HEIGHT STUDIO
Compare shank drop versus rise against a level-trailer silhouette. Match ball and coupler height so the trailer sits level.

LIGHTING MAP
Study 4-pin versus 7-pin: tail, brake, turn, reverse, 12V, and electric brakes. A short function quiz checks that you know which pin does what.

CHAINS AND BREAKAWAY
Practice the X-crossing and breakaway-cable drill. Fail states appear if chains are short or left uncrossed.

WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION AND SWAY

BOAT RAMPS AND WALKAROUND
