Updating my review (2021)- The app keeps on crashing when I open it at night. After fighting with it for over a week, I am trying another app. Like the sounds, but I hate the constant crashing. 2026 update - I was not pleased with the other apps & then upgraded to a new phone, which fixed the crashing issue. Yet now I am plagued by ads whenever I open the app and the frequent requests to subscribe. Pick your poison, I guess?

I've used this app almost every night for years, but the ads keep getting worse and worse. I would gladly pay $5 to get rid of ads, but instead they try to rope you into their monthly subscription. I WILL NEVER PAY A SUBSCRIPTION FEE FOR A WHITE NOISE APP. The developers have lost their minds. Unfortunately it does have better rain sounds then most of the alternatives, so I just close the app and restart it every time an ad pops up.

Bad to worse, in just a couple of months, payments destroyed the app completely. Now there is even a glitch that if you play any sound, after every 7_10 seconds your phone will buzz with no notification whatsoever.
