I had been looking forever for an app that tracks and records rainfall. The Raindrop app does that and more, with great specificity! Kudos to the developers. It seems like they are making ongoing improvements, but it is already beyond my previous expectations. I purchased the subscription, and am really glad to have it - it's very worthwhile!!

I had the free version. It allowed for 2 locations & gave the simple information I wanted which was total rainfall. The app gave 12 hours, 24, 72, week, month, year totals. I had home & my business locations & only used it to casually keep up with current and accumulated rainfall. It was great for my simple needs. Now the update came and they push for subscription. Only 1 free location available, more complicated, pushing for more access to my phone & location, etc. Simple was better.

It was cool when they had the free version, but they got rid of it, so I deleted it and gave it one star. Why do I need to pay monthly just to see rain totals? Many other apps are free, and they just put advertients in them. Even the weather channel app is free, what makes this so special that I need to pay?
