Use it to fill pool. Turns water on and off, not complaints. App seems stable.

★★★★☆ Pat Thompson · Oct 13, 2023

Great app that, as many have said takes some getting used to. However, I just upgraded to Android 14 and the app just keeps freezing. I'd love a developer to contact me to discuss. Thanks!

★★★★★ Riley Zimmerman · Oct 24, 2023

Stopped working after updating to Android 14 and/or the 1.1.3 Rain Point version. Can no longer connect to Bluetooth timers.

★★★★★ Bryan Mecklenburg · May 15, 2026

I have used this app for several years now and have not experienced any adverse issues. It is simple to use and reliable. My only request for making this app better would be to include an option for scheduling on odd or even days only so that I can easily conform to watering restrictions in my community.

Update: Use the TUYA app. If not installed, install it. Then long press hub button until fast blink. Use TUYA app to detect device. Once hub is detected and installed click done. Install batteries in timer and long press left valve timer button until both valves blink. Open hub/gateway in TUYA app and click detect/install sub devices. Timer valve lights will stop blinking when done. Enable TUYA skill in Alexa and rename device at desired. Rain point app will not work with Alexa as claimed.

Go back to the old version! It completely wiped out my automated irrigation I had set up. Now I have no idea how long it hasn't been watering or if it is, how often it's running or anything. This is bs! Now its like they are integrating it into a whole home control app, and that's now what I wanted when I bought a raincoat irrigation device. I have Google for all of my smart home needs.
