Ram Koti: Handwriting

Ram Koti is a calm, beautiful way to write the divine name and grow a daily practice — likhita japa, meditation through writing.

Write राम — or any name or mantra you hold dear — with your finger, anywhere on the screen. Ram Koti recognises your handwriting right on your phone and counts every name. Complete malas of 108, keep your streak going, and watch your lifetime count grow toward a koti: ten million names.

WRITE THE NAME
• Write by hand in 9 Indian languages — Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English
• Write Ram, or set any name or mantra you hold dear
• A daily goal of 21, 108, 1008 or any number you choose
• Calming background sounds — temple bells, veena, flute and more

YOUR PRACTICE, AT A GLANCE
• Today's count, your streak and your week, on one screen
• Achievements from your first name to a full koti
• Every name you write is kept in your Book — print it or save it as a PDF

BAJJU AND FRIENDS
• Bajju, the little monkey devotee, writes beside you and celebrates every mala
• Choose your companion — Bajju, Balu, Nandu or Sheru — and what they say when you tap them
• A daily moment from the Ramayana: a short fact or a quick quiz each day

WRITE TOGETHER
• Join a community of devotees writing toward one koti — on Ram Koti and our chanting app, Naam Jaap
• See the top contributors and your own place among them
• Festival challenges, like the Diwali Community Challenge
• When the community completes a koti, everyone celebrates together

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your handwriting is recognised on your phone and never uploaded. Your counts stay on your device. The community board is optional — you choose the name it shows. Back up your progress with your Google account if you wish. No ads, no tracking.

Jai Shri Ram 🙏
