Ranked Choice: Group Vote

Stop arguing about where to eat. Ranked Choice: Group Vote lets any group make fair, decisive decisions using instant-runoff voting — a proven method trusted by groups everywhere.

Create a vote, share a 5-character join code or QR, and everyone ranks their preferences. The app eliminates options round by round until a clear majority winner emerges. No tie-breaking arguments. No "I guess we'll just do whatever." A real winner, every time.

WORKS ANYWHERE YOUR GROUP IS
- Cloud voting over the internet — share a 5-char code or QR
- One-tap join: anyone scans the QR with their camera and lands directly in the vote
- Deep link support: rankedchoice://join/CODE

INSTANT-RUNOFF VOTING, THE RIGHT WAY
Voters drag options into their preferred order. The IRV engine eliminates the least-popular choice each round, redistributing votes until one option holds a majority. Live results update as ballots arrive, with a full round-by-round breakdown when the vote closes.

PRIVACY-FIRST
- No accounts. No analytics. No tracking.
- Cloud votes are stored only as long as you keep them; delete a vote and the cloud copy is purged with it.
- Creator-only actions (close, delete, update) are protected by an unguessable token issued by our backend — your device ID is never used as authorization.
- Anonymous mode redacts voter identities from public reads.
- Optional in-app network activity log shows you exactly when the app talks to our server.

How it works: create a vote, pick options, share the join code or QR. Voters rank the options. The app runs instant-runoff: lowest-vote option is eliminated each round, those ballots transfer to their next choice, and the cycle repeats until one option crosses 50%. The result reflects the will of the whole group, not just whoever's loudest.

No sign-up. No accounts. Just fair group decisions.
