Reactor Panic: Meltdown

THE REACTOR IS YOUR PROBLEM NOW, OPERATOR.

Cores keep coming. Sort them into the right tubes before instability
hits 100% and the whole facility goes critical. One wrong stack, one
slow shift, and it's a meltdown — cinematic, loud, and entirely your
fault.

Reactor Panic is a portrait-mode arcade survival game with a Soviet
reactor-control-panel soul. Every pixel, sound, and note is generated
procedurally — zero external art, zero audio files, all code.

▌SORT FAST, STAY ALIVE
• Tap or swipe plasma cores between containment tubes
• Full, pure tubes auto-eject for points
• Chain ejections for combo multipliers — EXCELLENT, INCREDIBLE, LEGENDARY
• Wild cores, locked cores, and rising spawn pressure keep you honest

▌RISK & REWARD ON A HAIR TRIGGER
• OVR x2 — Overclock for double score and double danger
• VENT — one emergency tube purge per run, use it wisely
• Emergency coolant arms when you're one mistake from the end

▌WAYS TO COMPETE
• ENDLESS — survive as long as your nerve holds
• QUOTA SHIFT — fixed-length competitive runs with their own board
• DAILY AUDIT — one seeded challenge a day; build your streak
• Global leaderboards with per-difficulty ranks (Easy / Normal / Hard)

▌BRAG ABOUT THE DAMAGE
• Every meltdown prints a shareable incident report card
• Rival callouts track the score just above yours
• Earn clearance ranks from Reactor Operator to Hero of the Reactor
• Unlock cosmetic console themes as you climb

▌BUILT DIFFERENT
• 100% procedural — no sprite sheets, no sound files, ~nothing on disk
• CRT scanlines, barrel distortion, and meltdown sync-tearing
• Three Soviet characters heckling you over the intercom
• High Contrast Cores mode and haptics for comfort and clarity

No timers nagging you. No energy meters. Just you, the cores, and the
slow climb toward catastrophe.

Clock in, Operator. The reactor won't sort itself.

Recent changes:
• The reactor now telegraphs its next core — brackets mark the landing slot. Plan ahead, comrade.
• Survive past 4 minutes and face lock storms and reactor surges.
• New career Service Record: every shift counts toward your tier.
• Quota Shift rebuilt — meet the quota to lock in your leaderboard entry.
• Brighter living plasma cores, sharper incident reports, and a score that bites as the reactor overheats.
