How Read Chinese is different: Other learning apps will play the entire word, but with the Read Chinese app, you can tap each individual Chinese character so you can read Chinese characters you've memorized already, while only receiving hints for characters you haven't memorized yet!
How it works: If you already know that 名 is pronounced "ming," but you forgot how 字, is pronounced, just tap the 字 character, and you'll hear the hint: "zi." Put it all together to complete the phrase 名字 ("mingzi")! Now you know how to say "name!"

How Does One Progress Forward? It appears like a really good app and can progress one's learning. However, can't seem to get beyond the first page! There's an introduction and nothing else. I click everywhere out of desperation and hope it will either download something, packs, next level etc. but nothing. Is this basically an introduction to perhaps a paid version? If so I'd rate it low for not clarifying this, but I'd also consider the paid version if one, and it's in line with the other excellent free and low costing apps. Help please!!
