★★★★★ UPDATE: I reset the app to Default Settings and it started working as expected. Will probably purchase the premium version to get the voice reply feature. Developer responded very quickly to my query. Thanks again John and great work on this app. This app works fairly well when I am in my car using Bluetooth. The only time I have issues is when I am also playing music from my phone through the same Bluetooth connection. Messages are not read. Is there a way to suspend all other Bluetooth broadcasting so Read Text 2Me will read the message? I am using an HTC 10 Evo phone running Android 7.

★★★★★ Recently moved from a W10 Mobile phone with Cortana. With that device, Cortana flawlessly read texts to me with a very intuitive interface. Finally switched back to Android, Samsung Galaxy S9. A great phone, but NO settings that work to read incoming texts that are intuitive or usable. OK Google is not working to read most recent texts. Gave this a try and after some tweaking and emails to developer, this works Fantastic. The voice is a little mechanical, but after switching to a different voice and pitch, much better. The developer John is SUPER responsive, and replied within seconds literally of initial email. Note to other Samsung phone users, the Samsung stock messaging app uses some protocol to send/receive texts that this app did not tag as seen. I had to DISABLE "Advanced Messaging" in the Samsung stock app settings, before ReadText2Me would work with their messages. Messages sent from other people using other handsets (iphone), worked fine. Setting message pops up once when changing setting that you will be limited in your message size. Didn't affect me. I was still able to attach pictures. Have not tried attaching a video. Bottom Line, works GREAT! Update 07/07/18, John added button to front of app to enable turning it on easier, th u!

★★☆☆☆ It don't seem to read my text messages while on my Bluetooth and that was the only reason I would need it

★★☆☆☆ I used the version with ads and was very happy. I purchased the premium version and after an hour all media on my phone started skipping badly. I had to delete this app, and as soon as I did my media was back to normal. Even when it wasn't fielding a message, media errors were constant. It's a shame because my initial experience was awesome.

★★☆☆☆ Keeps screaming at me "which auto response do you wish to send." I paid for the upgraded version. If I wanted to send canned messages I would just use my vehicle's system
